Who remembers The Brady Bunch—you know, that charmingly-corny ’70s sitcom about the lovely lady and the man named Brady who met, married, and merged their respective roosts into one happy home with three girls, three boys, and one hilarious housekeeper? Well, WebPT has formed its own kind of Brady Bunch—one that’s the result of much more than a hunch.
There are folks in the rehab therapy community—including WebPT’s own Members—who have asked for an innovative, all-in-one software solution that fulfills their documentation, scheduling, billing, and practice management needs. And we’ve heard them all loud and clear, while diligently working toward delivering that solution. That’s why we’re so excited to announce WebPT’s acquisition of Therabill, a web-based practice management software for physical and occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and behavioral health specialists.
By bringing Therabill into the WebPT family, we’ve accelerated our plan to provide those in the PT, OT, and SLP space with the most robust solution for their patient documentation, business operations, and claims processing needs. But our decision to join forces with Therabill wasn’t one we took lightly. Like Mike and Carol Brady, WebPT and Therabill have similar histories: both systems were created by therapists, for therapists (see the stories here and here); we cater to the same groups of people; and we share a common commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Basically, it was a match made in heaven. But any great marriage takes work to keep it that way, and that’s exactly what we plan to do in the coming weeks and months: work our tails off to provide current and future WebPT + Therabill users with an enhanced, two-way integration—and thus, the most streamlined, comprehensive therapy-centric solution on the market.
But WebPT + Therabill is more than just a best-of-breed EMR and billing solution; in addition to combining our two systems, we’ll continue to provide the industry’s best educational resources—including blog posts, downloadable guides, and monthly webinars—completely free of charge. We will announce the completion of our enhanced integration in the very near future.
