New AppFeature: Shared Playlists!

The ability to create playlists has been one of the most-loved features of our awesome Picmonic users. Since we released the playlist feature, we’ve heard countless students and educators that have requested the ability to share their playlists with other users in their classes. I mean, sharing is caring after all.

So what did we do? Well, we developed a brand spankin’ new feature:

Shared Playlists!

Share-642x500All Picmonic subscribers can now create their own playlists and share them with friends, classmates, teachers, listserv, or anyone else who may want access to the playlist! You can share playlists directly to other users within the app, share playlists with your school’s page, or share with anyone using a direct link to the playlist.

Current Picmonic users will receive an in-app notification when a playlist is shared with them. You will be able to choose to accept the shared playlist, and once accepted, you’ll be able to view the playlist in your own account. When a playlist is shared with someone who is not already using Picmonic, they will receive more information about Picmonic and will be able to view the 25 Picmonics in the free trial before deciding if they would like to subscribe and view the shared playlist along with the rest of the library they subscribe to.

How do I do this?

my schoolYou can also share playlists on your new school page! Go to “Edit Profile” and select your school to gain access to shared playlists on your My School’s page. Now, when you painstakingly create the perfect playlist for one of your upcoming exams, you can share it with your classmates, who will immediately begin singing your praises from the rooftops.

What does this mean?

You can work together with your classmates, study groups, and educators to create playlists that are specific to an upcoming exam and general class curriculum that everyone can follow!

Happy studying and happy sharing!
